As a Sutter Health employee, what are my partnership benefits?

All Sutter Health employees are eligible for a 10% discount on online courses. 

 

Sutter Health Non-Leadership Academy professionals are eligible for the Isenberg MBA and the MBA with a Focus in Healthcare Administration.

 

Sutter Health Leadership Academy participants are eligible for 3 program options: the Isenberg MBA (our traditional Online MBA option), an MBA with a Focus in Medical Management, and an MBA with a Focus in Healthcare Administration.

 

For individuals participating in the Sutter Health Leadership Academy and choosing to complete the MBA with a Focus in Medical Management, upon completion of the Leadership Academy you are waived of MBA program elective credits (3 credits). After completing the Leadership Academy and the 11-core course MBA curriculum (34 credits), graduates earn 9 transfer credits towards their degree, resulting in 43-credit MBA with a Focus in Medical Management.

Can I be waived of the GMAT/GRE?

Yes, the GMAT/GRE is waived for students with a PhD, JD, MD, ECFMG or Fifth Pathway Certificate; or have completed a Master's Degree with a GPA of 3.75 or higher and 8 years of work history.

 

 

When can I start the program?

You can start at any time by trying 2 MBA classes before you apply and see why our program is a good fit for you. For details, a list of good first choices and enrollment instructions, visit try 2 classes. These classes will be transferred to your graduate record once you are accepted with a grade of B or better. Students of the Healthcare Administration program can also start by taking a School of Public Health elective before applying.

 

The Online MBA has three application deadlines per year: June 1 for Fall, October 1 for Spring, and February 1 for Summer. 

 

 

What do I need to do to apply?

View our admissions guidelines for required application material and a link to the online application. When applying, all Sutter Health students should choose 'Management (Online MBA)' in the Degree field and enter 'Sutter' in the Specialty field.

 

The following materials need to be submitted at time of registration:

  • Certification of Sutter Health Leadership Academy to the Graduate Admissions Office.
  • For all others, please provide an employee verification form from your HR department.
