Academics/Curriculum
Your Core Business Knowledge
The Part-Time MBA course of study represents the core curriculum of business study in an efficient, 37-credit curriculum:
- The core functional areas of business (accounting, finance, management,
marketing, and operations) - Additional coverage of important business areas of strategic planning, organizational behavior, and human resource management
- Practical electives which are offered each semester
There are several distinct features of the academics and curriculum of the Isenberg Part-Time MBA Program.
- Quality - Isenberg faculty teach in both the Full-Time and Part-Time MBA programs. Our MBA programs are accredited at the highest levels by the AACSB.
- Diversity of teaching method. No one teaching method dominates the curriculum. Students will be exposed to a variety of techniques, including the case method, team approach, and computer simulation whether they take a course live or online.
- Efficiency - The 37-credit curriculum provides the core knowledge of business in a way that allows a student to achieve the necessary business knowledge in an efficient, timely manner.
- Flexibility - Students can take courses live at any of our satellite campuses (Holyoke, Pittsfield, Shrewsbury) or online. Students can take both "live" and "online" classes during the life of their program.
