The Isenberg MBA

Welcome to the University of Massachusetts Amherst Isenberg School of Management's Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree program. We offer exciting and challenging MBA program options to meet your educational, career, and lifestyle goals; full-time, part-time. and online.

The Full-Time MBA program is a 55-credit,  two year residency program designed for those individuals who want an on-campus experience and desire to focus their skills and knowledge in a particular area of business.  The first year applied curriculum provides the core business curriculum while the second year is focused on elective courses and structured to allow students the ability to focus in a particular interest area such as finance, marketing, operations, or outside the immediate realm of business, such as education, public health, or computer science.

The Isenberg School of Management also offers six full-time MBA/MS Dual Degree programs in Sport Management, Public Policy and Administration, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Mechical Engineering.

The Part-Time MBA is a flexible 37-credit program and is one of the most efficient ways to advance your business knowledge and skills while balancing the demands of an ongoing career. Students can take as few or as many courses in a given semester and the program can be completed in as little as 11 months or up to a maximum of 4 years.

Part-Time MBA courses are offered "live" in traditional classroom environments at three Massachusetts satellite campus locations: evenings in Shrewsbury and Holyoke; alternating weekends in Pittsfield or the entire program can be completed online - anytime.  The choice is yours.

Regardless of which program you choose, courses are taught primarily by our full-time Isenberg faculty who possess outstanding research credentials and hands-on industry experience.

Both the Full-Time and Part-Time MBA programs are accredited at the highest level by the Association to Advance the Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), which is the gold standard for business school accreditation assuring you the highest level of academic rigor.
